SKD Enhanced Combat BDU Pant

The high quality improved SKD BDU is currently the only MultiCam® combat pant and shirt set that is manufactured in the US by a military contract BDU manufacturer. Based on the design inputs by real-world users, these BDUs are produced with an emphasis on function. Specific changes have been added since our first runs to make this a more user-friendly design. Coyote loop Velcro is now sewn over the breast pockets, and on the sleeve pockets. We specifically asked for a pocket for the 5.11 or Skydex knee pad insert, and they are easily accessible from the outside via a Velcro closure.

Combat Shirt Features:
  • Top entry chest and waist pockets, with Velcro loop sewn on top.
  • Slanted upper arm double pockets, with Velcro loop sewn on top.
  • Pen pocket.
  • Low profile mandarin collar with Velcro closure.
  • MIL-PRF-MCCUU 50% Nylon 50% Cotton Nyco Ripstop (MultiCam®).
  • 65% Poly 35% Cotton (Tan).
  • US Made with genuine Crye Multicam® fabric and US Materials.

  • Patterned after traditional 6-pocket BDUs for familiarity and utility.
  • 2 front and rear besom pockets for small items, stays accessible with drop leg platform.
  • 2 side cargo pockets, closed with standard buttons.

  • Draw string leg closure.

The fit and quality of these pants is exceptional.  The button fly and pocket flaps are superior to the hook and loop fasteners used on other brands, in my opinion.  The integrated knee pad pockets are a very nice feature, too.  These BDU cost a bit more than imported pants, but I would rather send my money to American manufacturers.

The Best BDU Pants, Hands Down. January 10, 2013

Although they're cut to wear a little higher than I'm used to (I normally wear somewhat lower-cut jeans), they are incredibly comfortable and the fit is impeccable. They move, they're tough, and they breathe like Egyptian cotton. The pockets are deep, too. Everything you liked about the usual BDU pants with the addition of a better cut and pockets for knee pads. I use them for trail running, hunting, and general shenaniganry.
