These pads are great.  They compress much better than the issue pads or those of their main competitor and feel softer throughout.  The pads don't create any hotspots from the compressed pads trying to expand under strain from wear.

They also fit in the helmet better.  Rather than having flat backs the pads are somewhat contoured so they grip more of the coins or strips of hook & loop and hug the inner contour of the helmet.  Not only do you have to fight expansion in other pads but, because they are straight rather than coontoured, you also have to fight their trying to flex back to straight.

If your pads fight you and try to pull on your chinstrap while wearing it or they just don't compress enough these are the pads for you.  The covering material also seems more durable and doesn't pile, stretch, and open in spots like others.
