This piece of kit is just OK, which is sad.
Two major complaints, costing a star each:
1) Except for the main compartment's zippers, all the others (and there are 10 of them) have a hard plastic S.O. Tech-branded pull tab. Combined, they generate a significant amount of noise. For a pack designed for possible E&E role, that's silly. Would like to have seen something like Tactical Tailor's Silent Pulls on these.
2) When a pack is worn cross-shoulder and there is some weight to it (say, anything above 10 lbs), the main compartment's zipper sliders  dig into the wearer's shoulder. With a nice, wide carrying strap, the bag just begs to be loaded down.

For what this bag is, and its price, it is hard to understand why these things, which seems like important features, were overlooked.

In my opinion, this is the best Go Bag (Pack) yet.  The amount of storage space in this small pack is amazing.  No need to want, or add, additional pouches to this pack.   I took everything out of my S.O. Tech Mission Go Bag and placed it in the Go Pack with room to spare.  I am seriously considering purchasing a second, as I think it is that good.  Typical S.O. Tech quality which is second to none.

This is my 5th or 6th SO Tech bag. I've used the standard Go Bag for almost 3 years and I use Go Bag ext.'s to store uppers or transport whole carbines to the range.  This bag falls into the Go Bag standard size category, and I think it diversifies the line rather than necessarily improving it. The Go Pack's additional pockets allow for the easier storage of Nalgenes, wind-breakers, other large items while retaining room in the remaining pockets. Also, the side pockets are sewn on along their exterior, but there is a gap between the back and the side of the main bag. This is good because it allows for expansion, and unlike other bags, what you store in the side pockets will not intrude in the cargo space of others. If you need a bag with small footprint and good small item organization, go for the Go Bag. If you need the increased storage but still a compact bag (there is still room for MOLLE admin pouch, too) the Go Pack is the answer.
