Boogie Operator Goggle March 20, 2014

I ordered these and expected a much more comfortable fit. The adjustment strap is to short and a bit on the cheesy side. Im returning these and going back to my Oakley's.

Average for a goggle February 12, 2014
Reviewer: The Reverend from Mays Landing, NJ United States
When my grey S.O. Boogie Regulator Goggles arrived, I quickly put them on and started moving firewood. The weather in NJ was bitter cold and the ground was covered with snow. After working up a little sweat, the goggles started to haze over. The haze was not necessarily fog but more of a layer of water that completely impeded my vision, typical of all goggles that claim fog free. I tried opening and closing the vent, no improvement. I may have been expecting too much so I gave them another try in a different environment.
The goggles perform very well in CA where the weather is dry and warmer. I use them for riding goggles on my motorcycle. The low profile and close fit contour allows for unobstructed view. The foam could use some improvement, it’s a bit rigid and does not seal as well as it could if softer. Overall, I would recommend these goggles for someone working in a warm dry environment with low dust. Good quality, would be great with a few improvements.

Let down... December 8, 2013
Reviewer: Aaron in Coronado from Coronado
I really wanted these to work for diverse military use - BLUF: They do not!
-Helo/HRST use: Sand still gets in these things (I think because they don't stay snug to the face due to minimal foam).
-Comfort: They are uncomfortable.  The thin foam compresses rapidly and feels like you are wearing home depot $5 safety goggles.
-Freefall: Disagree with one review - these flapped against my face despite how snug they were.  A few co-workers found them to work though.
-ACH helmet integration: Bungee system does not make these any more comfortable than sunglasses with peltors.
-Fog: These do absolutely fog up like any other eye wear that fits snug to the face.  Vent holes are gimmicky.
-Appearance: You look like a moron wearing these quite honestly.  Jump goggles for jumping, sand goggles for HRST, sunglasses for operating.  These are a great idea but just don't work for military use.
This review covers the clear and smoked lenses with factory strap AND ACH bungee strap.

Great for Free Fall July 29, 2013
Reviewer: Clayton
I bought these specifically for skydiving and they did not disappoint. The open close vent is easy to use and stays securely in which ever position you choose. I can see these coming in handy for any operation where you need something with a low profile and good all around eye protection. The band is easy to adjust and optional extras make these very versatile. Attachments can also be purchased to work with Ops Core helmets. I love mine and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good, relatively inexpensive, set of eyepro.
