TangoDown PR-4 Ambi QD Sling Mount, M4/CAR Collapsible Stock

The PR-4 Single Point Sling Mount installs on any M4 style carbine receiver extension. No weapon disassembly required. Great for Agency or Unit members that are prohibited from 'permanent' weapon modifications. Installs/removes in minutes. Smooth shape does not interfere with charging handle or weapon manipulation.

The PR-4 offers easy ambidexterous sling use, and features a rear-facing attachment point as well. Perfect for in-vehicle use and fast strong/weak hand transitions. Comes complete with instructions, installation wrench and heavy-duty push button sling swivel. Sling not included.

Nice mount but too expensive ! May 20, 2013

I bought this mount for my HK 556 and it fits perfect . I gave only four stars for the price somehow way to expensive .
SKD was fast in delivering the purchased item and the shipping charge resonable

My colt AR has a real good staking on the castle nut and didn't want to dremmel it out.
This TangoDown PR-4 is exactly what I am looking for and is very heavy duty. I will test it out at the tactical match in few weeks.

I tried a couple of other ambi QD sling mounts, but returned them for the TangoDown PR-4.  While the TangoDown PR-4 is expensive, it is well engineered, installs quickly and solidly to a MIL-SPEC buffer tube...and it's worth the money.  Great customer service from SKD Tactical!

The factory staking on my BCM lower is so good I didn't want to monkey with it by trying to swap out end plates.  For those in LE, your department may not even allow you that option.  The PR-4 is a very good solution.  Lockup is solid and the mount held through a recent carbine class without budging.  You do lose the middle rear-facing attachment point if the stock is in close, but the two other points at 3 and 9 o'clock work great even during shoulder transitions.  The only reason I gave the mount a 4 out of 5 stars is the price.

Solid product.  Selected this product because of the 3 connection points, which allows  versatility in setup.  Easy install. Very Secure.  Finish and machining is good.
