Directs muzzle blast and sound forward, away from the shooter, while retaining effective muzzle brake properties. Very low dust signature, without swirling effect. Works as an improvised breaching devise. 5.56/.223 (1/2 x 28 TPI)

Easy and solid install, exactly what I was looking for, it has a breaching tip on it and its actually sharp (but not sharp enough to cut you). It also does reduce recoil and it does seem to direct the sound more forward.   If your looking for a solid functional muzzle brake for your AR without burning a whole in your pocket buy one now!

I am using this brake on a MSAR E4 rifle to make it NY compliant.  Tried the FSC-556 and it was way too loud for a bullpup.  Put this brake on and the rifle is much more comfortable to shoot, and the brake is very effective.  Awesome product, and great service from SKD!

Good low cost muzzle brake June 20, 2010

I needed a muzzle brake since I am building a "featureles" rifle to obey CA gun laws and to shoot prone and urban prone without the dust getting into my eyes or breathing it. While the device looks aggressive it does give noticeable felt recoil and I do noticed that the muzzle does jump up slightly. I've only used it once for 50yrds target shooting and a 1-day carbine course. On the carbine course I hardly had any dust kicking up while shooting prone or urban prone.
