Awesome product, I expected quality from Troy and that's what I received. The lockup between the mount and the swivel is solid and precise, before this product I just expected a little slop in all QD swivels! My favorite aspect of this product is the various mounting positions for the swivel allowing you to rest the rifle the way you prefer.

This is a very well-made part. Installation was simple and the fit is perfect. The limited-rotation feature eliminates the problem of a twisted sling. The only slightly negative issue I can think of is that the sling can come between the stock and the shooter's cheek when the swivel is located in the outermost point. Attaching the QD swivel in the center location moves the sling just enough so it is not noticed. Now I'm not sure that I need the sockets on the sides... Oh! One more thing --- the QD swivel is slightly less than "quick" for me because the button is slightly recessed and requires a thumbnail to engage it.

This is a high quality mount. Do not think because other people rated it lower that it is not a great mount. Their issues about getting the stock nut tight would be resolved if they used a peg type armorer's wrench.  Fit and finish are great.

The sling mount installed relatively easily, but a proper castle nut wrench is necessary.  A spanner type wrench will not clear the mount.  For performance, the Troy sling adapter is perfect, looks good and is adaptable for either side use.
