Easy to install, works well, but if you have big thumbs you may bump it working the safety. Allows a little rotation of the swivel. Feels pretty tough we'll see how it hold up.

These TROY sling mounts are the only way to go. I learn the hard way, by going broke buying crap like DD. If you want a one time purchase of a rock solid sling mount, buy a TROY and buy it from SKD. You will not be sorry.

I have co-workers who have purchased similar products fromother manufactures, and all I have to say is that the Troy Pro-Grade is way more heavy duty.  It takes about 30 seconds to install and pairs flawlessly with the PIG Drop Slider Sling.

The adapter can be installed very quickly with relatively no work. As will all Troy products, it does what it says it will do. Works flawlessly with a Blueforce single point push button sling. Best part is, it comes with a push button sling swivel; $15 value, and this adapter is half the cost of other brands. I prefer Troy's one piece design over the other brands two piece design.  The quality is top notch, and price the is right.

Easy install and bombproof June 24, 2011

Over the years I have used a number of different endplates and bolt on sling attachments, everything from the ASAP, Noveske's end plate, to GG&G's sling adapter.  After trying all of them my favorite is the Troy.

It is bulkier than the others mentioned but the overall ease of installation, use and design is superior. For an issued duty weapon this is the best way to go, no need to replace the factory end plate or mess with the castle nut, and you can put it on in just a few minutes.  It locked up solid on my tubes with no wiggle and left no marring to the tube or castle nut after removal.

I've used it with both two point and single point slings, with just QD points or HK hooks, all with great results.
