The Viking Tactics Wide Padded Sling provides added comfort for heavier firearms. Same great features as original sling. The Viking Tactics, Inc. Wide (padded) Sling was developed after listening to feedback from our customers.

Customers with heavier firearms who wanted a wider, more comfortable sling with the same great features of the original Viking Tactics, Inc. sling. The Viking Tactics Wide Sling is made with a shoulder strap with closed cell foam for increased comfort.

The forward adjustable portion of the sling remains the same as the original sling, giving you quick, easy adjustments from any position.

Bought this sling for my M1A SOCOM 16. Fits perfect, holds the weight well, and it can be easily adjusted to your liking.

Have used a VTAC padded sling for a couple of years now and I absolutely love it.  The adjustability and speed out performs every other 2 point slings I've used.

Just the sling for your heavier rigs! January 10, 2012

After purchasing a Wide Padded sling for my overweight AR10 Carbine awhile back, I knew this was just the sling I  needed for my other AR10s!  Plenty of adjustment, clear instructions on setup, plenty of padding to keep your neck from chafing with a heavy rifle, and built to last!  I now own 5 Viking Tactical Slings.

Sling came highly recommended by friends, those without the padded option suggested I be sure to spring the extra couple bucks for the padding, those who have used these slings longer than I continue to be very pleased with the product.  Just as I am.
