Vltor Compensator, 223 Long (VC-1)

Based on the M4K Flash Suppressor, the VC-1 is designed to facilitate the mounting of devices that rely on the rear shoulder of the suppressor as a mounting surface, such as the Gemtech HALO Suppressor. With conventional flash suppressors, the crush/peel washer can interfere with the shoulder surface and cause unstable mounting of muzzle devices, often leading to loosening or improper alignment. The VC-1 provides a dedicated shoulder that is not affected by the flash suppressor washer- the VC-1 is also manufactured with the correct 22 millimeter diameter body, to allow for the use of any NATO standard muzzle attachment. When mounted to a 14.5-inch barrel, overall length extends 16-inches. Available for .223/5.56 NATO and .308/7.62 NATO.

This muzzle devise works well (cuts flash) even if you're not using it for the gemtech can. Plus it gives your gun a little bit of a unique look if you're into that.
