Vltor Scout Light Mount

The Scout Mount is a Quick Detachable rail mount for certain SureFire flashlights. Installation is simple and the mounting is solid.

Scout Mounts are available for E and G-series SureFire flashlights. Now available, Vltor offers a Scout Mount for the C-series (classic) flashlight, which will only fit the knurled surfaces of the C-series SureFire flashlight.

Great mount January 30, 2013

Skd shipped it out fast and well packaged. Fits great on my troy quad rail. I have a surefire g2xd mounted in it. Vltor recommends not to use this mount for the g2x cause it doesnt fit, its slighty slimmer than the g2 and its really really close but doesnt. But I really wanted the combo of this particular light and mount. All you need is a small piece of paracord in between the light and mount and snug it up. Fits great then, doesnt twist or move. Solid

Simple and straightforward January 13, 2012

The VLTOR is nothing special, but it's 1/2 the price of the "special" mounts.  It's solid and does exactly what I bought it to do.  It's not heavy and does not take up too much rail space.  This is a great basic setup.  

Make sure you check which model you get for which flashlight you have, this has confused others in the past.
