Zero Tolerance 0300 Knife, Folder w/ SpeedSafe, BK

Designed by ZT and Strider, this combat folder is equipped with SpeedSafe® manual assisted opening for easy, one-handed blade deployment. Just push on the ambidextrous thumb stud or pull back on the blade protrusion and the knife is good to go.

A S30V stainless steel blade with matte-black Tungsten DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating provides extreme durability and wear and corrosion resistance. The Tungsten DLC coating enhances hardness and reduces friction drag. 3-D machined, G-10 scales provide a secure, all-weather grip. A 3/8-inch hex head pivot shaft nut makes field adjustments possible with minimal tools. Includes a quad mounting system for tip-up, tip-down, left- or right-handed clip carry.

This is the nicest folding knife I have found for under $500. Its realy solid, holds a incredible edge. Made from the best stuff.

i have been looking for a good knife for a long time and have looked far and wide.  i started looking for zero tolerance knives after talking to a friend and seeing them at a few gun shows.  first off build quality is solid there is just no other way to describe it...  next the blade is extrmely (and that part i cant emphasize enough) sharp.  thr grips are g10 and provide a very good texture but can be slightly abrasive until you get used to them.  the assist notch on the back allows for quick access.  the. thumb notches on the blade are somewhat useless with the assist notch on the back should but if thats what you are used to then use them.    have had this blade for a few weeks with no problems yet and cuts through anything from seat belts, rope, zip ties, and pretty much anything else you can throw at it.
