Perfect minimalist chest rig, but NOT heavy-duty. November 6, 2013
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Texas hill country, United States
This chest rig is very well designed and built nearly flawlessly, but beware, it is not built for extended, heavy duty use.  I've had mine for about 4 months and have used it quite a bit, probably hiked 150 miles in it with 6 mags, a HSGI IFAK pouch, tourniquet pouch, and dump pouch. Some chafed spots are appearing at the bottom of the mag pouches and on the flaps, at pressure points like the feed lip edges and the heel of the mags. The fabric is fraying a little on the outside and feels noticeably thinner. They don't look like they're going to fail anytime soon, but they've still worn rough spots uncomfortably quickly. You could fix this with some tape, but I would prefer that firstspear had padded the pouches or used some heavier fabric. That being said, it is extremely comfortable and simple, you will eventually forget you have it on. I carry 2 PMAGs in each pouch and have had no problems extracting them or anything. It also holds 1 mag securely.

Half good, half bad December 26, 2012

The stitching is great and over all the rig is well made. The only issue is that the magazine pouches really struggle to hold 2 mags. Once in, the mags arent going anywhere. But they are a pain in the ass to put in or take out. However, if a pouch only has one mag in it, its smooth as butter. But, once you start using two mags, it gets really cumbersome. Ive only had the rig for a few days, so maybe I just need to break the rig in a little bit. So my words are really only first impression.

Chest rig is good to go June 4, 2012
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
Good company, good design, and it's built well.  The only complaint is that on some of my T-shirts my riggers belt would push the "G" hook up and out making the waist belt come undone.  The wearing of a thinner belt, or a war belt will negate this.  I ran this during Pat's 3 day class, my lane was gravel.  Going into prone on it did not have any affect on the nylon.  This piece of kit is GTG.

Everything you need, nothing you don't May 28, 2012

This is the perfect lightweight chest rig. It has everything you need and nothing that you don't. It will carry six mags if you need that many and lays very flat with three mags. Or you could do four mags in two pockets and have one left for a radio. Plenty of Molle for pistol pouches or radio pouches or an IFAK if you need those things. Very comfortable and well made. Great price too!

This is a perfect chest rig if you are on the move. You don't even know it is on. It has just enough space to attach essentials. So far, very pleased.
