Mayflower Cummerbund Soft Armor Inserts, APC, Kevlar

The Mayflower Cumberbund Soft Armor Inserts, Kevlar are cut to fit Mayflower's various different models of cummerbunds allowing the end user to upgrade his protection level based on threat analysis. All materials and workmanship are 100% made in the USA.

The Level IIIA Soft Armor panels, Model # VS-13A, are made by Velocity Systems LLC. These panels are NIJ certified and in compliance with the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) Standard-0101.04 as incorporated by the NIJ 2005 Interim Requirements for Bullet-Resistant Armor. They meet or exceed the USASOC Fragmentation requirements and meet or exceed the DEA test protocol.

These inserts and thin compared to my level IIIA duty vest.  They are flexibly enough for side armor and their low profile is a plus for this type of product.  Glad I got then and SKD 's customer service is top notch.

The medium inserts fit perfectly in my medium cummerbund.
