Velocity Systems Soft Armor Plate Backer, 10" x 12", 100% Kevlar

These Plate Backers from Velocity Systems are available in 100% Kevlar or Dyneema, and are made to NIJ IIIA equivalent specifications. As far as Plate Backers go, these are among the finest available. These Plate Backers are required to bring up the spec of the Velocity In-Conjunction Hard Armor Plates, and are made to perfectly fit their profile. Due to their small size, these should not be considered Stand-Alone ballistic panels.

All Velocity Systems ballistic panels are RF welded/heat sealed in a urethane coated nylon to protect from moisture and debris.

purchased two, one as my backer for Velocity Systems MultiCurve Plate, Level III/IV, ICW.  The other goes to my wife's TAG Banshee. She didn't find everything to be too cumbersome. Going to get two more, this time for the back of the Banshee when funds becomes available.  It maybe extreme for civilians, but, times are a changing. Hopefully, things would return back where these don't have to underneath our bed.  Be safe, and nice job ninjas!

I have the Velocity Soft Armor Plate Backers behind the Velocity Lvl III/IV ICW plates (that SKD also sells) in a Mayflower APC.

Not only do these upgrade the ballistic rating of my hard armor, but these provide some extra "padding" in my APC.

They are light enough and provide the ballistic protection that I was looking for, for a great value!  You won't go wrong with these!
