• Neoprene padding creates a "gel-like" comfort
• Adds a level of grip that is unlike any other low-profile belt system on the market
• Two access ports at 3 and 9 o'clock positions for the attachment of subloads, such as holsters and drop platforms, directly to the interior belt
• Assembled with a removable HDPE stiffener to add stability
• Designed for use with a COBRA® 1.5" or 1.75" Rigger Belt

Covered by HSGI's® Lifetime Warranty. Made in the USA.

See the HSGI® Clips 101 video above at 1:45 for how to attach pouches to our Slim-Grip® using our HSGI® Clips.

IF YOU WISH TO ORDER A 1.5" RIGGER BELT TO MATE WITH THE SLIM-GRIP® BELT, YOU MUST SELECT IT AS AN OPTION WHEN ORDERING. PLEASE BE CAREFUL  AND DELIBERATE WHEN SELECTING THE SLIM-GRIP® SIZE VS. THE RIGGER BELT SIZE

TO ACCURATELY DETERMINE THE PROPER SIZE PADDED BELT, TAKE THESE STEPS.

  1. FIRST, DETERMINE THE SIZE GAP YOU WANT IN FRONT BETWEEN ENDS OF THE BELT. MANY PEOPLE PREFER AS LITTLE GAP AS POSSIBLE TO OFFER MORE MOLLE REAL ESTATE TOWARD THE FRONT.
  2. ONCE YOU HAVE THIS DECIDED, TAKE A TAPE MEASURE AROUND YOUR WAIST WHILE WEARING YOUR EVERYDAY BELT. DO NOT BASE YOUR BELT MEASUREMENT ON YOUR PANT SIZE.
  3. FINALLY, SUBTRACT THE GAP YOU WANT FROM THE WAIST MEASUREMENT. ORDER THE PADDED BELT CLOSEST TO THIS FINAL MEASUREMENT. IF YOU CHOOSE THE COBRA® BELT, YOU WILL NEED TO GO UP A FEW INCHES FROM YOUR STANDARD BELT SIZE TO ACCOMMODATE THE ADDED GIRTH CREATED BY PADDED BELT.

Belt sizes are based on production averages and may vary by approximately one inch in either direction due to the handmade nature of the product.

Below is the total length of the SGPB for sizing:
30.75" end to end - If you choose a COBRA® belt for this Slim-Grip®, the smallest COBRA® you should order is Medium
36.25" end to end -  If you choose a COBRA® belt for this Slim-Grip®, the smallest COBRA® you should order is Large

    Exactly what I’d expected

This belt is extremely well made, doesn’t rotate on the hips, and was shipped very quickly from SKD. Would 100% purchase again.

    Nice belt

This is a nice belt....with one flaw that caused me to give it three stars. While the belt has inner openings at the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock spots (under the molle) for allowing access to the inner belt (internally only), I would rather it have slits at the 3 & 9 so that allow the inner belt can be exposed in those positions so you don't have to use a drop holster to make it work. Most belts give you the option to expose the inner belt (at 9 & 3) so that a belt type holster mount will work.

    Good gear

It seems to be well made. The large was a bit larger than I expected so you may want to error on the side of medium instead of large if you are typically an in between guy like me, unless you like the ends touching. I wear a 38 or 40 standard clothing belt for comparison.

    Excellent Quality, Reasonable Price

This slim line belt is a huge upgrade over the older style wide belts. You're losing a row of molle webbing in the process, but the gains in general mobility are well worth it. The only thing that could improve this belt would be 4 anchor points for suspenders, but if you're handy you'll find a work around for that like I did.

    A great product made better

Posted by George A Tamayo on 23rd Mar 2017

I originally had the HSGI battle belt Ver.1 and it's a great piece of gear. It has finally been made better, HSGI has cutdown on the weight which enhances mobility and cuts down on heat when training in summer.

    Oustsanding battle belt

I've been very happy with this belt. I hate standard belts as they take up too much space and shift constantly during training. The slimgrip fits as intended and the backing firmly hugs your body. I run mine right above my belt line where it rests on my hips. This belt is ideal if you run a PC or if you just prefer smaller lighter gear. Only 2 rows of webbing for mounting attachments, this is a significant downside. However the belt doesn't twist or sag with weight on it. If you have large pouches with normal molle straps, you have a problem here as those pouches are meant to be weaved in and out of multiple rows. Any malice clip or similar mounting system will work completely fine. I especially love that there are cutouts at 3 and 9 o'clock that give you direct access to the inner belt to hang holsters or other accessories off of. Installation of the inner belt is also a breeze. I have roughly a 32" waist and run the medium slimgrip with a large inner belt.

    Phenomenally grippy

I've had complications with other belts slipping and sliding around, from the VTAC belt, Eagle Industries, and other well-known brands. This belt sits very comfortably under well-fitted armor and stays in place without being unnecessarily tight. Holds the basics and has room to spare. A word of caution: follow the HSGI sizing video when determining the size you order, it's critical.
