Aimpoint 3XMag Magnifier

The 3XMag magnifying module is specially designed for compatibility with Aimpoint® sights and for maximum flexibility and increased performance in the field. The 3XMag is a revolutionary tool for military personnel, law enforcement, sport shooters and hunters. When combined with Aimpoint’s patented TwistMount, the 3XMag gives the user something never before possible – the ability to switch in a split second from CQB (Close Quarters Battle) to semi-sniping and vice versa. Hunters can rapidly switch from non-magnifying to magnifying while still being able to keep their Aimpoint® sight on their firearm. The versatile 3XMag also can be used as a handheld magnifying glass monocular for discrete observation and identification.

The recommended mount for the 3XMag is the Aimpoint Twist Mount, which allows for quick attachment and detachmen. The Aimpoint TwistMount fits any MIL-Std 1913 Picatinny Rail.

Unique features
  • Mountable on a rail system behind Aimpoint® sights
  • Extremely fast and ingenious mounting solution (Twist Mount - Picatinny)
  • Can also be mounted with a regular 30 mm ring
  • Provides extended range to the operator
  • Combines the best of two worlds – CQB & semi-sniping
  • Increases confidence, performance and flexibility
  • No influence on point of impact –– No need for re-zeroing the sight
  • Doubles as handheld magnifying monocular

Great product! January 10, 2017

I don't need to hype up the quick shipping and customer service because if you've bought from SKD before, you already knew that.

This Aimpoint 3x Magnifier is the best magnification for your red dot optic. I have this mounted on a Larue Tactical QD Pivot Mount 9 (755-30T)

The glass is incredibly clear and pairs nicely with any Aimpoint. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

I have bought many things from SKD Tactical. Their gear is great and their customer service is fantastic. On top of that these guys have a sense of humor. Hard to find all of those together these days.

Aimpoint Magnifier August 13, 2013

The greatest thing since sliced bread. I use mine with my Aimpoint T1, together it is the best short to mid range optic for the AR platform.  One of the best features is it's ability to be removed without loss of zero on the T1 which makes it a great sniper support option.  Very very Happy with the purchase. Good Shooting. D Baker. FBI Firearms Instructor.

Magnifier April 8, 2013

In the search for the perfect optic for a carbine I have come to conclude that this magnifier coupled with the larue flip mount is the ticket for a rifle that will primarily be shot close in but requires the ability to push out to ranges beyond 200m as well. when shooting in close you retain the speed of a red dot sight without the FOV, parallax, and eye relief issues associated with a scope. When you need the magnification flip the magnifier over and it gives you the little oomph you need for longer shots and target ID at farther ranges. The magnifier is not as useful as the ACOG at distance because it lacks the ease of the drop tree but is adequate if you know your holds.
