Esstac 762 Chest Rig Back Panel (Boar Series)

One of the best features of the Boar-series chest rigs is the ability to change out the primary magazine carriage mechanism by merely replacing the back panel. The 762 Back Panel allows you to take an existing 556 Boar-series chest rig and turn it into a chest rig to support 7.62 x 51mm platforms such as the M14, SR25, AR10 when using the KYWI, and 7.62 x 39mm and 5.45 x 39mm (AK) platforms and G3 magazines when using standard bungee retention flaps (available separately).

All Esstac Boar Series Chest Rig Back Panels now come standard with the overwhelmingly popular KYWI (KYdex Wedge Insert) retention system. Standard and AK bungee retention flaps are available separately.

5 of 5 It's all about the AK September 19, 2019
Reviewer: Andrew Anderson from Winder, GA United States
The ak has always been my platform of choose but because good gear for it is hard to find I always ended up going with an ar. Mostly speaking of mag pouches but then I tried this setup with the ak flap retainers and man I can't say enough good things about it. If you're an ak guy then here it is best that I have found and I've been looking. I should have known to check skd tactical they always have the top notch gear (my bad) won't make that mistake again.

5 of 5 Great panel for AUG magazines May 28, 2013
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Amarillo, TX United States
Almost perfect.  Size is great, kydex was not too tight.  The magazine "tooth" catches a bit on the sides of the pouch so I bought a $10 kydex 12x12" .060 sheet off of amazon and cut out 12 1x5.5" strips.  Used a heat gun on the end of the strip till it curled then folded it over about an inch using a bit of shoulder strap off my carrier to leave a slight space.  Slid them down the side on the inside of the pouch and they work amazingly well- no more hangups with the aug tooth.  No wobbling in the pouch from what I've made out.  I can shake it upside down and the mags (unloaded) don't fall out.  Real happy with it.
