ITS Tactical Tallboy ETA Trauma Kit Pouch

The ITS Tactical Tallboy ETA Trauma Kit Pouch was born out of the necessity in developing both a pouch that could hold the Vacuum Sealed Tallboy ETA Trauma Kit, as well as the contents of the kit if the end user needs to break the seal, or wants faster access to individual components.

ITS worked closely with Haley Strategic and Zulu Nylon Gear to revamp their Fatboy Trauma Kit Pouch to accommodate a taller kit that takes up no more real estate than a double mag pouch does. Utilizing just two columns of PALS Webbing if mounted vertically, this Tallboy ETA Trauma Kit Pouch can also mount horizontally for a multitude of options, including being secured to the rear of a battle belt or a standard belt with a quick configuration of the short MALICE Clips. (see photo)

With a simple pull on the handle, the pouch quickly filets open to provide immediate access to your medical components without delay. The small 1″ section of red Velcro One-Wrap affixed to the handle can be removed for a lower profile.

The main rear-most pocket provides space large enough to fit the Vacuum Sealed Tallboy ETA Trauma Kit or a complement of other medical items. The two rear wing pockets are large enough to store Decompression Needles and NPAs, or other Airway devices. The flap panel design comes from the ITS Med Insert thatís included with their Discreet Messenger Bags and allows you to custom configure the shock cord loops to hold whatever you need it to.

The pouch can also be quickly secured by simply pulling back up on the handle and affixing the velcro. Trauma shears can be tucked behind the PALS/MOLLE mounting at the rear of the pouch or attached to the single channel of PALS/MOLLE that run on either side of the exterior of the wings. This channel can also be used to secure a tourniquet, tourniquet pouch, or rescue hook pouches.

5 of 5 Amazing gear. April 11, 2020

This is a great blow out kit / bag. When kitting this bag out though you need to make sure you can fit it up and itll close, find what you think is essential and pack that thing out. Some things kind of make the zippers bind up so clearing the path way would help out greatly and just test deploying the bag helps a lot when making sure the actual time you need it and someone tips it open their not fumbling around to open the bag in a pinch. If I was to replace some things I'd get a new medical patch, the one provided was cheaply done and stitched together... the pull tabs on the zippers I'd definitely change those out for the geissele pull tabs you can get on their site. That's a personal pet peeve I'd say and it doesn't bother you, well more power to ya people! I mounted them horizontally and it fits good and when sitting down on a battle belt you can feel it but it's more like lumbar support than a nuance. I added some bungie that I had lying around to the top and slid a TQ through

5 of 5 TallBoy-Just Right December 3, 2019
Reviewer: LoDog from Midland, TX United States
I wanted to make a trauma kit to keep in my vehicle.  The TallBoy is a good size - will fit under seats or behind seats.  I packed with some QuikClot gauze/sponges and the misc bandages.  It holds enough to effectively bandage about 2-3 different wounds.  Depends what you try to put inside.
