Maxpedition 4" Flashlight Sheath

At the behest of hand-held LED light manufacturer INOVA/Emissive Energy Corp., MAXPEDITION created the 4" and 5" Tube Sheath models for hand-in-glove fit on INOVA's T1 and T3 models, respectively. These versatile sheaths, equipped with lateral elastic retention, also fit a multitude of flush or flared bezel torches from all major manufacturers. Rather than having the cost-cutting crimped bottoms like most other sheaths, MAXPEDITION Tube Sheaths have 1.1" diameter throughout, all the way to the base, greatly augmenting carrying capacity, versatility and accessibility!! MAXPEDITION Tube Sheaths are slim, saving precious space on web gear or belt. A secure velcro lid provides full range of length adjustability while the grommeted bottom provides quick drainage and shine through functionality.

Excellent GP Pouch September 27, 2010

Got my Maxpedition 4" Flashlight Sheath just for the purpose of holding my G2. Instead I found out it holds my SOG multitool better then both the leather and nylon pouches from SOG! Alot of Velcro holds it down securely, 2 times as much as came with the SOG nylon. The integrated belt loop was a nice addition so it doesn't inadvertently fall off (which happened with the SOG one :( had to go fishing through the woods to find it) Great construction all around, as expected from Maxpedition.

The only gripe I had with this is it doesn't hold nice and tight on molle. I can feel it swinging slightly when it was mounted on my waist pack. Fixed by just throwing it on the straps.

I will definitely be ordering another one! It also fits my SOG trident nicely!

Great way to carry a multitool July 15, 2010

Very pleased with the Maxpedition 4 inch Flashlight Sheath. Have this mounted to an Eagle All Molle Chest rig to keep my Leatherman tool close at hand. Construction is top rate and there is enough velcro so as to allow for a variety of objects with different lenghts to be held securely.

My only gripe is that the back of the pouch has a built in belt loop. This is good for versatility, but Ive found that it doesnt ride as tight to the rig as Id like. Pretty minor gripe, but FYI.

Leatherman sheath January 30, 2010

Keeps my Leatherman Wave at my fingertips mounted to the PALS on my Maxpedition Jumbo. Snug, and the velcro flap is long enough to be well secured.

Flashlight Sheath January 27, 2010

Awesome product. Fits perfect on my belt, I like that it is able to move around on my belt because I use my light in extremely confined spaces. The flashlight that I am using is a locally sourced 4" LED light from a Snap-On vendor.

fits on my 2" belt but it moves around alot. hook & loop is very strong. hold my surefire G2 LED a little tight but it should loosen up if i keep it in there for a while.
