PIG BRIG Soft Armor Backer Sleeve [SYSTEMA]

NOTE ON SYSTEMA: All PIG items with "[SYSTEMA]" in the product title are related to the PIG Brig Plate Carrier and PIG Brig Chest Rig product family. Please refer to the product descriptions for how each respective SYSTEMA product relates to the product family.

The PIG BRIG Soft Armor Backer Sleeve allows the PIG Plate Carrier Soft Armor Backer to be worn underneath the PIG BRIG plate pocket by utilizing the hook and loop fastener interface normally used for AFC Pontoons. This effectively provides you with soft armor capability that is necessary for some In-Conjunction With (ICW) plates to meet their maximum ballistic protection rating. Once the BRIG Soft Armor Backer is attached to the PIG BRIG, they will not shift when worn, as compression via the shoulder straps and cummerbund will hold the BRIG Soft Armor Backers against your body, making it impossible to disengage the hook and loop.

Sold in PAIRS, the BRIG Soft Armor Backer Sleeves are proudly Made in the USA!

5 stars October 7, 2015

Equipment:
PIG BRIG has everything I was looking for:
Light
Minimal
EZ-mode Modular
Padding and venting where the plates sit
Plenty of fuzzy realestate for my cool-guy patches and magazine wells.

Shipping/handling:
I recieved the items quickly.  Items were all in excellent condition.  Everything was in it's own protective bag and sorted well.

These things work as expected . I am amazed at how comfortable the pig brig is in general , I have also outfitted my Mayflower to except these also and it works amazing so that if I want or don't need the backers it's an easy swap on and off !

Great product. Strange customer service. January 3, 2014
Reviewer: Alex Zapasov from Sherman Oaks , CA United States
Quality is good and very comfortable to wear. Positions of armor pocket cover vital body parts. Quality of sewing seams is well done.  Excellent for home defense and/or quick deployment.    Modular set up and capability of adding soft and hard armor without restriction to movement is impressive. PIG BRIG CR, 4 Mag feels a bit flimsy with 10 round Mag, (California compliant Mag).  PIG BRIG Shoulder Pad Set makes system comfortable but not too bulky. PIG BRIG CR, All-Molle [SYSTEMA] is useful but I would have liked to see more G hooks added to give me some additional options. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase, initially I was planning on a PIG plate-carrier but you did not have it in multicam so got the PRIG and I am glad I did. However customer service is strange I have sent an email to customer service and received no response. I agree that my question cold have been strange but as a customer I would expect some sort of response.
Thank you, Great product!!!
