PIG Brig CR-LB (Load Bearing) Harness [SYSTEMA]

NOTE ON SYSTEMA: All PIG items with "[SYSTEMA]" in the product title are related to the PIG Brig Plate Carrier and PIG Brig Chest Rig product family. Please refer to the product descriptions for how each respective SYSTEMA product relates to the product family.

The PIG BRIG CR-LB (Load Bearing) Harness allows you to connect your PIG BRIG CR (Chest Rig) directly to the PIG Hydration Carrier, 2L, PIG Hydration Carrier, 3L or the PIG gRUNT Modular Pack or PIG gRUNT Pack, Large, for an integrated load carriage solution with features that have never been previously offered in Chest Rigs.

The Box-X-stitched 1" webbing loops on the Harness shoulder straps allow your BRIG CR G-hooks to connect as primary load bearing points, whereas the same G-hooks serve a back-up load carriage function on the PIG BRIG Plate Carrier. The seamless and low-profile integration makes it difficult to distinguish the harness's interface from the dedicated sewn-in shoulder straps. The shoulder straps feature a rolled/folded edge towards your neck for reduced abrasion, and integrated low-profile elastic loops for wire/hydration management.

The G-hook/Reverse Butterfly Tabs attach to the top of the respective SYSTEMA compatible rear load, which then attaches to the top of the BRIG CR Load Bearing Harness. The Tactical Toggle Bungee piece then secures the G-hook/Reverse Butterfly Tabs to the harness shoulder straps, making a low profile connection that does not compromise strength or comfort (video coming soon!).

The ITW Quick Attach Side Release Buckles on the waist strap allows for quick and reliable attachment to the middle webbing loops on the sides of the BRIG CR. Like the PIG Brig CR Harness, the BRIG CR Load-Bearing Harness is also compatible with the PIG H-Harness Kit to allow customization of your strap configuration.

As with all PIG Tactical Nylon gear, the BRIG CR Harness and all SYSTEMA components are proudly Made in the 'Merica!

***Note that the BRIG CR-LB (Load Bearing) Harness will only work with current SYSTEMA compatible PIG Hydration Carriers and PIG gRUNT Packs. Early PIG Hydration Carriers and gRUNT Packs do not have the necessary hardware to integrate with the Reverse Butterfly tabs.

    Great straps

Got these so I could integrate grunt pack with brig CR. In a word - perfect. And SKDs customer service is perfect too!

    Works great but...

This strapping system works great and can incorporate any chest rig and backpack into a connected unit. No more threading straps under each other. Unfortunately, my set came marked up with permanent marker. SKD said they couldn’t guarantee a replacement wouldn’t have the same marks. Unfortunate that such a great product has shoddy QA.

Works as designed. Description could be more clear

I ordered the LB straps for the purpose of attaching the gRunt pack to my CR. The straps are designed well and made with good quality. My issue with the straps is that I thought that they could be used alone as just normal straps without the need for a pack or camelback. But that is not the case. It is necessary to have a pack to attach to the straps so that they can be used. Maybe i read the description wrong, but thats the only downside. They do work well for their purpose though. Could use some instructions as well.

    Other uses

This harness over all functions great and has top quality it sewing. With that said I had bought this to rig the Grunt modular pack to the ucr but didn't realize until I got it that it doesn't work that way but it does just not how it would normally. You have to rig it like the 5.11 rush series on the shoulders and use the g hooks on the sides.

    Great product. Strange customer service.

Quality is good and very comfortable to wear. Positions of armor pocket cover vital body parts. Quality of sewing seams is well done. Excellent for home defense and/or quick deployment. Modular set up and capability of adding soft and hard armor without restriction to movement is impressive. PIG BRIG CR, 4 Mag feels a bit flimsy with 10 round Mag, (California compliant Mag). PIG BRIG Shoulder Pad Set makes system comfortable but not too bulky. PIG BRIG CR, All-Molle [SYSTEMA] is useful but I would have liked to see more G hooks added to give me some additional options. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase, initially I was planning on a PIG plate-carrier but you did not have it in multicam so got the PRIG and I am glad I did. However customer service is strange I have sent an email to customer service and received no response. I agree that my question cold have been strange but as a customer I would expect some sort of response. Thank you, Great product!!!

    Very comfortable

This harness is easy to use and easy to adjust, once you figure out how to attach everything to it. That's pretty intuative, anyways. The reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because one of my load straps (which is used for instance to attach a gRUNT pack to the harness) was sewn backwards. I just cut the seams and folded the material the right direction, and followed with the same stitch pattern that was in the strap to begin with. Not really worth bothering SKD over since I could fix it myself. Connection looks like it was sewn at the factory, with no issues!
