PIG BRIG Mk1 Shoulder Pad Set [SYSTEMA]

The Hybrid Foam & Spacer Mesh construction of the ALL-NEW PIG BRIG Shoulder Pad Set provides optimal padding and ventilation for the PIG BRIG Plate Carrier . With minimum weight and bulk, the BRIG Shoulder Pad Set enhances weight-bearing comfort tremendously. When wearing the BRIG directly over clothing (and not over a soft armor vest), adding the BRIG Shoulder Pad Set with a set of PIG AFC Pontoons will bring the comfort level on par with the PIG Plate Carrier.

These shoulder pads will fit any strap up to 2" wide.

    Already had them for my Crye Precision JPC1. When my second kit, Crye JPC 2.0 came with their padded shoulder pads, I immediately upgraded my padding again to the Pig Brig. This should be standard for anyone running a JPC.

    I had these in few of my rigs and they are great!! They are lined with mesh to help with airflow and are modestly priced at $30 at set). I would love to see them start making these with stiffening materials or try to keep the Mk2 in stock more often. After trying the ones from Ferro/Shaw/AXL I realized that the stiffer the pads the better the weight distribution.

    These gen 1 pads fit my jpc 2.0 way better then the gen 2 pads. They are a great addition and make your vest alot more comfortable!! Highly recommend

    The only downside to lifting heavy circles is big traps, and I noticed some pressure spots on my JPC when I'd wear it. The PIG Brigs fixed it immediately and even after 5 hours of wearing, they still felt great

    The original Crye JPC is great for a minimal, yet capable plate carrier. The glaring issue however is the lack of shoulder padding making long term wear uncomfortable, if not challenging. The Pig Brig MK 1 addressed this issue magnificently. This should be standard issue for the JPC. I’d recommend this for any one’s kit.

    I put these under my already existing pads that are built in and the velcro attachments are still long enough to reach around that. Adds double cushion and distributes the weight better.
