Exceptional quality gear.  Wilson combat mags still seem to fit a little loose but with  minor adjustments it was good to go.  High quality gear for operators.

Double Molle straps do not fit the two rows of PALS webbing without un-stitching the PALS stitches. Really not impressed with that. However the quality of the pouches is great, but the attention to detail is poor.

When it comes to tactical nylon, it's never a gamble to me when I get something from Eagle! The pouches maintain the perfect amount of retention for my magazines!

The eagle FB double mag pouch does the job -it holds your pistol mags securely.

Pros - peace of mind that your mags won't fall out

Cons - a bit bulky for what it is due to the kydex inserts, only works with specific magazine it is built for

If you are shopping for the best pistol magazine pouch available, I think you have found it.  The 45 model fits a single stack 1911 perfectly.  Snug retention with a hard liner than makes insertion and removal very smooth and fast.  With the flap folded back, the mags are firmly retained, won't come loose with movement, even upside down shaken, while still providing for a fast reload.  Solid molle attachement.

The pouch has metal plates built-in, so it keeps your magazines snug and tight.  It's not easy for the mags to fall out then.  You can also pull the back flaps forward and secure it to the velcro in the front to further secure your magazines.  It's a great product, sturdy and efficient to Eagle Industries' quality standards.

After using cheap brand molle grear, I assumed thats what to expect from molle gear. IT DOES make a hugh difference. The attachment straps are nice and tight when attached to webbing, holding tight to carrier. strap points are mounted farthest out to get rid of any slop. When flaps are down, mags feel very secure. Able to use with most mags; I've confirmed with glock 19, 17, m&p 9mm and .40 all models, the double stack polymer-frame-type pistols in the market.
