VLTOR A5 Buffers

For the operator that requires a specially weighted buffer or wants to fine tune their weapon, the VLTOR A5 buffers come in five unique weights. These buffers are only compatible with other VLTOR A5 products.

Features:

  • VLTOR patented design
  • Body of the buffer is 7075 T6 aluminum
  • Mil-Spec Type III clear hard coat anodized

1. Can I use these buffers in a carbine receiver?
No, the VLTOR A5 buffers are only designed to work with the A5 receiver extensions (RE-A5 and RE-10/A5SR). Attempting to use these parts in a regular carbine receiver extension will result in damage to the firearm and potential injury to the operator.

    Good customer service. Had a issue with the mailing address (my fault) but emailed them and received response very quickly and issue was resolved satisfactory.

    I've been running an H3 but had a supply of lighter load ammo that was not cycling well on mid-length rifle that has the A5 system when used unsuppressed. Changed to the H1 and it's cycling correctly.

    A5 buffer kit

    I ordered the kit with spring for my 6.5 creedmoore. My bolt won't stay back with empty magazine. I tried a shorter buffer and and it will stay back, but I am worried that if I change buffer I will lose the advantage of a5 setup.

    Item came super quick and buffer was perfect. Used this to finish off a 14.7 build with green spring and vltor buffer tube. Might try this setup on a 16” build.

    These buffers are the best and are hard to find. I bought this buffer for an Ar 6.5 Creedmore with 24 inch barrel. I had to use the BCM A5 buffer tube, because Vltor was unavailable. Also a sprinco rifle length regular strength spring. Good combination, works well with little recoil. SKD had fast shipping, just wish they had more available, but no one does. Thanks SKD
