PIG Soft Armor Compatible Molle Cummerbund

For those of you required to wear soft armor side inserts, this is the cummerbund you need. It will allow you to go with or without soft armor inserts, while retaining all the function of the standard PIG PC Molle Cummerbund.

The Cummerbund body has been redesigned to allow for an easier fit for the soft armor inserts. When using with Soft Armor Inserts in the Cummerbund, use a Molle based surface-mounted Side Plate Carrier to utilize the soft armor insert as a side plate backer (PIG Molle Side Plate Carrier due August 2011). Without Soft Armor Inserts in the Cummerbund, you can use the PIG Side Plate Carrier for Molle Cummerbund (PIG-PC-SPC-CBM). This Cummerbund is compatible with the Eagle Plate Carrier.

Excellent plate carrier and a must have piece of gear. Great fit, easy on easy off (Don and doff for you yutters). I run it with XL Sapi plates and soft backers. SKD gets it to you quickly also, big time plus.

The molle cummerbund's lack of elastic made it impossible to strap down the carrier as tightly as I need to.  By contrast,the elastic cummerbund does this very well.  It would be nice to have a product that secured the carrier like the elastic but also provided rows of molle.
